Choose the best software. For example, a poster, despite all its brightness and attractiveness as a design layout, is simple, since it consists of only one sheet. It can be created in any design program. But a booklet of several sheets already needs to be typeset. For example, in Adobe InDesign. In this program, you can set all the necessary indents and print options. Photoshop is also actively used. It is required for retouching and finalizing images before submitting the final version to Adobe InDesign. Software for processing vector images is also used, for example, Illustrator;
Remember the size. Most often, we recommend stretching the background so that its size includes cropping allowances. If the allowances are small, from about 1 to 2 mm, then sometimes you can simply increase the size of the layout. You also need to make sure that the final product looks natural even after trimming, especially for the area.
All color raster images must be changed to CMYK model with a resolution of 300 dpi;
Convert outlines and fills of all structural elements to CMYK; all shadows, transparencies, lenses and effects are also recommended to be converted to bitmaps in CMYK model;
Make sure that all black texts of small sizes are of the same tone;We need to find the optimal combination between images and text with effective typography. Everything should be combined with each other and convey all the necessary information to the potential client.
To send files to the printing house, we recommend using a closed file form (PDF, EPS format).
