Today is eventful: we celebrate World Animal Protection Day, World Space Week, and Teacher’s Day in Ukraine. In 1535, on this day, the first English-language Bible was printed.World Animal Day was first organized by the German writer Heinrich Zimmermann. The purpose of the holiday is to draw the attention of mankind to the problems of the rest of the inhabitants of the planet Earth.
World Space Week is celebrated thanks to the first satellite of the Earth: Sputnik-1 was launched on October 4, 1957, and three years later, animals successfully flew on Sputnik-5 – dogs Belka and Strelka, 40 mice and 2 rats, they flew in 25 hours orbited the Earth 17 times.
Let’s protect animals, space, our entire planet and thank our wonderful teachers and books for the knowledge gained in life!
