To increase the reading literacy of the population, the Brazilian publishing house launched an innovative project to develop the book market 🇧 🇷
“Buy a book – use the metro for free” – this was the motto of the campaign from the popular Brazilian publishing house “L & amp; PM Editores”, which together with the advertising agency “Africa” created travel books 🚇This book entitles you to 10 free metro rides. A chip is sewn into the cover of each book, which must be attached to the scanner on the turnstile to pay for the fare. In order to simplify the purchase of such a ticket, the companies have organized points of sale at metro stations.
When 10 trips are over, the book-card can be replenished via the Internet, and if the book has been read, it can be handed over to a friend. This original book is available at almost all metro stations in São Paulo.
The organizers have already sold 10 thousand books 📚
The idea turned out to be so popular that representatives of the publishing house are now working on launching a similar campaign in other cities.
